Friendship

Four years after the kidnapping of journalist John McCarthy this book blends some of the most articulate voices in modern literature raised to draw attention to the plight of hostages held in Beirut or any unjustifiable imprisonment regardless of race, nationality, culture or political belief.

A vital, imaginative collection of stories by writers of diverse vision, this book significantly contributes to a campaign for human rights and freedom.
